Who we are

PicketPin is run by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], a Wyoming corporation ("PicketPin," "we," "us"). We decide how the information described here is used, and you can reach us at [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL].

What this policy covers

This policy covers picketpin.com and our waitlist. The PicketPin product isn't open yet. Before it opens, we'll update this policy to cover accounts and the data PicketPin reads from services you connect. That access will be read-only, as described on our security page.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we store:

• your email address,
• which signup form you used,
• when you signed up, and when you confirmed your address.

When you visit the site, your browser sends standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to the servers that deliver our pages. We use your IP address briefly, in memory, to stop the same address from submitting the form over and over. We don't store it with your email address or use it to identify you.

What we don't do: the site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use it

• To send one email asking you to confirm your address.
• Once you've confirmed, to email you when PicketPin opens and, occasionally, with news about the launch.
• To see which signup form people use, so we can improve the site.
• To keep the site and the waitlist secure and free of abuse.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing or advertising.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers, who handle information only to provide their service to us:

• Amazon Web Services hosts the site and the waitlist, and sends our email through Amazon SES. Your information is stored in the United States.
• Google Fonts supplies the site's typefaces. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details under Google's privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

How long we keep it

• If you don't confirm your address, we delete your signup after 30 days.
• If you do confirm, we keep your email address until you ask us to remove it or unsubscribe, or until we no longer need it for the waitlist and launch.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL] and we'll reply within 30 days. Every email we send after you confirm will include a way to unsubscribe.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent to send waitlist email, which you can withdraw at any time, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct their personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for using those rights. We don't sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms.

Security

The site and every form submission use HTTPS. Access to the waitlist is limited to PicketPin's founders. No system is perfectly secure, but if we ever learn of a breach that affects your information, we'll tell you.

Children

PicketPin is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we'll also email people on the waitlist.
